$7100 for Munk Family
n 2019, when Addie Munk was just 8 years old, she was diagnosed with cancer. Her father, a Deputy with the Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio, recalled, “She had been complaining about some vision problems, so we took her to the doctor. They did a scan, and it showed a tumor at the back of her brain. It was diagnosed as medulloblastoma.”
Addie underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation and initially showed signs of improvement. However, in 2021, the cancer returned, this time spreading. By early 2024, her cancer reappeared for a third time, leading to six weeks of intensive treatment.
In March 2024, Blue Line Unlimited, in partnership with FOP Lodge #106, stepped in to help the Munk family with financial support during this difficult time. Thanks to the outpouring of support from our community, Blue Line Unlimited was able to donate $7,100 to assist the family with their expenses.
Despite her brave six-year battle, Addie sadly passed away on January 27, 2025. Addie you will never be forgotten.
