Blue Line Unlimited Donates $5,000 to C.O.P.S. Survivor Weekends and Camps

In a powerful gesture of community support and remembrance, Blue Line Unlimited has donated $5,000 to the C.O.P.S. Kids Camp in honor of Grace Leon—a dedicated advocate for law enforcement families and a beacon of strength for survivors of fallen officers.

Grace Leon's story is one of resilience and hope. After the tragic loss of her husband, Wayne Leon—a Cleveland Police Officer who died in the line of duty—Grace and her children attended C.O.P.S. Camp, finding comfort and healing among others who had experienced similar heartbreak. Since then, Grace has remained a deeply influential figure in the law enforcement and survivor community, working to ensure that no family walks the journey of grief alone.

Blue Line Unlimited’s donation is a tribute to Grace’s enduring impact and the vital mission of Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). For more than three decades, C.O.P.S. has been a lifeline for over 80,000 survivors across the nation, offering grief counseling, peer support, and survivor-specific programs at over 50 local chapters.

C.O.P.S. understands that the pain of losing an officer in the line of duty ripples far and wide—touching spouses and children, parents and siblings, extended family, and even fellow officers and colleagues. Their Survivor Weekends and Camps provide a safe, nurturing environment where those affected can share their stories, connect with others, and take steps toward healing.

The C.O.P.S. Kids Camp, in particular, plays a vital role in helping children process their grief and rebuild their sense of joy and connection. For Grace Leon’s family, this camp was more than a summer retreat—it was a turning point in their path forward. Today, thanks to this generous donation, even more children and families will have the opportunity to experience that same support.

In honoring the legacy of Officer Wayne Leon and the strength of Grace and her children, this contribution serves as a powerful reminder that in times of loss, the law enforcement community stands together.
